Food Plots for wildlife are becoming more and more popular with wildlife enthusiasts. Basically food sources are planted that attract the desired form of wildlife to be observed. Sometimes multiple wildlife species are attracted to the same plots. This practice has been going on for at least four decades and is not a new concept. However, through research and development there are more products and information available than ever before. There are multiple purposes for planting supplemental food sources including providing, year around availability, nourishment during specific time periods, and increasing the quality of the nourishment. Generally Food Plots increase the health and survivability of the targeted wildlife species.
